Installation
- Close the Unreal Editor before adding source files.
- Place the plugin folder under your project's
Pluginsdirectory. The folder must containCube_Inventory_rep.uplugin,Sourceand, for examples,Content. - Regenerate project files and build the project's Editor target for the matching engine.
- Open the project, enable Cube Inventory in the Plugins window and restart if requested.
- Enable Show Plugin Content in the Content Browser to inspect
Cube_Inventory_Framework. - Configure Project Settings, create a Component and register Item Assets.
The subsystem is created automatically; you do not place a manager actor in the level. Keep project-specific assets outside the plugin content directory so updates do not replace them.
If installation fails, check the engine version, build output, descriptor target platforms and the C++ toolchain. The original installation screenshots referenced files absent from this Inventory media directory; the instructions here do not depend on those missing images.
